As a CRM Executive you are responsible for executing the CRM strategy alongside your peers, with the ultimate aim of improved customer retention and therefore improved customer value. The role will be key in further expanding our Below The Line and Above The Line CRM offering in Germany, Austria and Luxembourg, particularly looking for opportunities to test and learn. It will also involve collaborating with various internal stakeholders such as Gaming and Features, Country Management, Brand, Product and Creative. This role revolves around the optimal use of technology and data to improve the effectiveness and efficiencies of CRM campaigns.

What you’ll be doing

As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Execution and ownership of slots and lifecycle CRM campaigns in Germany, Austria and Luxembourg
  • Managing the automated lifecycle flow, ensuring onboarding, active and reactivation campaigns are being regularly optimised, tested and reported on to maximise KPIs
  • Ownership of main slots loyalty programmes (Prize Wheel and Weekly Rewards Club), ensuring they are regularly refined and tested to deliver against Retention Rates and Player Value goals
  • Owning and executing large seasonal campaigns (eg. Summer and Christmas specials), which are used in both acquisition and retention channels
  • Executing additional adhoc campaigns around new game releases, leaderboards and cashback specials
  • Supporting the brand and sponsorship team in utilising our world class sponsorship assets
  • Managing a range of communication tools – email, SMS, push notification, in-app messaging
  • Managing content creation with the help of the creative department
  • Ensuring the Betway websites are up to date and optimised, particularly the app and mobile site
  • Competitor analysis to better understand our positioning in the market

Essential skills you’ll bring to the table

The necessary skills that we require for this role include:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively
  • Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a focus on achieving shared goals
  • Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering on time and within scope
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality in all outputs
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations
  • Fluency in English and German (both verbal and written)
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Passion for CRM and data insights
  • Project management skills and delivery focused attitude

Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve

It would be great if you also have some the following skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends
  • Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations
  • Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards
  • Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies
  • Experience in the betting industry, preferably on the slots product
  • Exposure and good knowledge of a content management system
  • Knowledge of slots game types and providers
  • Strong problem-solving skills in understanding and diagnosing solutions
  • Experience with Excel
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Content Builder, Journey Builder etc.)
