As a global organization, our team spans multiple U.S. states and six countries, and we continue to expand with exceptional talent in onsite, hybrid, and fully remote roles.      Position Overview:  Cornelis Networks is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer to lead global marketing at a critical inflection point for the company and the broader AI infrastructure market. This role reports directly to the CEO and is a key member of the executive leadership team.    The ideal candidate is a technically fluent marketing leader who understands how infrastructure and systems buyers think, evaluate, and make decisions. While this role does not require an engineering background, it does require the ability to engage credibly with technical customers, internal architects, and product leaders — and to translate complex technology into clear, differentiated, and accurate market messaging.    The CMO will own awareness, positioning, brand, events, and demand generation, working in close partnership with Product Marketing and Sales to drive pipeline, customer adoption, and long-term category leadership. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, results-oriented marketing leader who thrives in dynamic environments, takes ownership, and brings a “can-do” mindset to building something meaningful.    Key Responsibilities:  Marketing Strategy & Executive Leadership  Define and execute a global marketing strategy aligned with company growth objectives and product roadmap  Serve as a senior leader and trusted partner to the CEO, and executive team, contributing market insight and customer perspective  Build, lead, and scale a high-performing marketing organization with clear accountability and measurable impact  Act as a credible voice of the company in industry forums    Messaging, Positioning & Brand  Own the company and product value propositions, messaging and brand across all channels  Ensure marketing content and narratives are technically accurate, differentiated, and resonant with AI and HPC buyers  Translate complex architectural advantages into clear business and performance outcomes for customers  Establish Cornelis as a thought leader in AI networking, scale-out systems, and HPC infrastructure    Awareness, Events, Press & Analyst Relations  Lead public relations, analyst relations, and industry engagement (including HPC and AI conferences, technical events, and briefings)  Build and execute an event strategy for impactful presence and activation at industry, customer, and partner events  Build trusted relationships with industry analysts, influencers, and ecosystem partners    Demand Generation & Go-to-Market Execution  Design and scale integrated demand generation programs across digital, content, field, partner, and event marketing  Partner closely with Sales to drive pipeline creation and opportunity development in target accounts  Collaborate with Product Marketing to deliver launch plans, campaigns, technical content, and proof points  Oversee development of blogs, white papers, webinars, customer case studies, and technical collateral that support the buyer journey    Customer & Buyer Understanding  Develop deep understanding of target customers, buyer personas, and decision-making processes in AI and HPC infrastructure markets  Use customer insight to refine messaging, campaigns, and go-to-market strategies  Ensure marketing reflects how technical buyers evaluate performance, scalability, reliability, and risk    Marketing Operations & Performance  Build and scale a high-impact marketing organization with clear accountability  Define and track KPIs across awareness, engagement, pipeline, and ROI  Manage marketing investment with discipline and focus on impact    Required Qualifications: 15+ years of marketing experience, including senior leadership roles  Proven success marketing complex, technical B2B products or platforms  Strong background in networking infrastructure, semiconductors, HPC, or AI-related markets  Ability to work closely with technical teams and communicate credibly with sophisticated customers  Data-driven, creative, and execution-oriented leader with strong executive presence    Preferred Qualifications:  Direct experience marketing to HPC, AI infrastructure, networking, or data center customers  MBA or equivalent business leadership experience    Location:   This is a remote position for employees residing within the United States. Candidates located on the U.S. West Coast are strongly preferred.    Why Join Cornelis Networks:  Opportunity to shape the market narrative for a category-defining AI and HPC networking company  Direct influence on company strategy, customer adoption, and revenue growth  Executive-level role with close collaboration with the CEO, product leadership, and engineering  Competitive compensation, benefits, and long-term incentives  At Cornelis Networks your base salary is only one component of your comprehensive total rewards package. Your base pay will be determined by factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and location relative to the hiring range for the position.
