The position will focus on expanding ImmunityBio’s presence in the product segment. The Brand Marketing will take a leading role in the development and implementation of patient-focused marketing strategies and tactics. This individual will be a key point of contact with all key internal and external stakeholders in executing current and future marketing efforts supporting the growth of all products in the U.S. and Canada markets.Essential FunctionsAssist in the development of product marketing strategy and implementation plans, including the creation of disease-specific messaging, initiatives, promotional materials, and promotional education programsLead the Health Care Provider (HCP) strategy development and work with agency partners to execute omnichannel strategies for HCPsLead the development for brand marketing planning and tools for market access as well as build the value story with the Market Access team to drive product growth in assigned segment (.e., Payor, Government)Create and execute a comprehensive, integrated tactical plan including digital initiatives to drive peer-to-peer education and awareness across hospitals and integrated delivery networks (IDNs) nationally and locallyPartner with the Training Director to identify and develop product focused sales trainingPartner with Brand Director and data analytics team to develop materials, presentations, scorecards/measurements for internal and external audiences to articulate strategy, validate key metrics, and track execution, effectiveness and financial implications Assist in the management of the Promotional Review Committee (PRC) process by being the brand lead in process improvement with key internal stakeholders in Medical, Legal & Regulatory AffairsCultivate and maintain strong relationships with local and national key opinion leaders (KOLs)Develop and maintain strong relationships with other functional areas and internal strategic partners (i.e. Sales, Promotional Review Committee, Medical, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical, Legal etc.)Play key role in managing agency and external vendor relationshipsEnsure marketing spend is tracking to targetPerform ad-hoc and cross-functional duties and/or projects, as assigned, to support business needs and provide developmental opportunitiesEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in life science, business, marketing or other relevant specialty requiredMaster’s Business Administration (MBA) preferred8+ years of commercial and/or marketing experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with experience in managing and launching a specialty or biotech product requiredProven track record of developing marketing strategies and tactics, with a focus on solid implementation of tactics through a combination of individual and team efforts requiredExperience with managing complex commercial challenges requiring detailed analyses and presentation of strategic recommendations requiredExperience in managing external agencies and vendors on a day-to-day basis, and managing promotional budgets requiredSolid experience in executing omni channel marketing programs requiredExperience in marketing drugs and/or devices in oncology, rare diseases or orphan therapeutic areas is highly preferredPan Tumor brand marketing experience is a major plusPrior sales and/or sales management experience is a definite assetKnowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesOutstanding, proven leadership skills with the ability to collaborate and navigate effectively in a matrix environmentComfortable and effective within a rapidly changing start-up environmentStrong analytical skillsStrong business and scientific acumenA high level of comfort and interest in understanding complex scientific concepts and contentA proven track record of being an effective, results-oriented project leaderMust possess a strong ability to drive multiple projects across functional areas, and work independently when appropriate, in teams and as a sub-team leadSelf-starter who demonstrates initiative, energy and enthusiasm; brings a positive, can-do approach to all challengesWorks with an appropriate sense of urgencyDetail-oriented with impeccable organization skillsExcellent oral, written and presentation skillsStrong sense of ethics and responsibilityUnderstanding of U.S. reimbursement and distribution channels is preferredUnderstanding of the U.S. selling environment especially the P&T process preferredWorking Environment / Physical EnvironmentThis position works remotelyRegular work schedule is Monday – Friday, within standard business hours. The annual base pay range for this position is below.
