Benefit Analyst - Marketing

The Benefits Analyst will provide group benefits consulting support, including design, financial management and ongoing servicing for existing clients and prospects. The Benefits Analyst will work closely with internal consulting teams, interface with vendors, support client deliverables, and ensure quality standards are met.The Benefits Analyst- Marketing will:New Business Marketing & Quoting:Market new group benefit opportunities to multiple insurance carriersAnalyze carrier proposals for plan design alignment, and pricing accuracyPrepare professional proposal packages and side-by-side comparisons for producer reviewEnsure all new business submissions are complete and meet underwriting requirements Carrier & Underwriting Coordination:Serve as primary point of contact with carrier marketing representatives and underwriters for new businessNegotiate rates, plan adjustments, and underwriting exceptions when appropriateFollow up on pending quotes and manage strict carrier deadlinesMaintain strong working relationships with multiple carrier partners Proposal Development:Create polished, client-ready proposal presentationsDevelop contribution modeling and cost comparisonsEnsure proposals clearly articulate the firm’s value proposition Producer Support:Collaborate with producers to understand prospect needs and competitive positioningTrack and manage new business pipeline activity To be successful as a Benefits Analyst-Marketing with People Corporation, you will need:Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in group benefitsKnowledge of Canadian benefits industry and group benefits financial underwriting requirements for all types of employee benefits plansAdvanced competency with Microsoft ExcelProficiency with Word, PowerPoint and OutlookStrong analytical skillsExcellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and high level of accuracyAbility to manage and prioritize competing demands in order to meet client and company needsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsSensitivity to confidential informationWhat’s in It for YouLearn by working alongside our expertsExtended health care and dental benefitsA retirement savings plan with company contributionsA suite of Health & Wellness offeringsMental Health programs and support for you and your familyAssistance for the completion of industry designationsCompetitive compensationAt People Corporation we are committed to helping businesses succeed. The actual base salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
