ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an exceptional Audio Systems Lead to own the technical backbone of our audio ecosystem across live games, studios, and slots. This role ensures our soundscapes are delivered with absolute clarity, consistency, and reliability across all environments, devices, and titles.
Although the title reflects seniority, this is an individual contributor role. You will influence, guide, and collaborate with Audio/AV teams, studio engineering, and operations teams to raise standards, solve complex problems, and ensure world‑class audio delivery. You will rely on your expertise, credibility and strong communication skills to drive action—not direct line management.
Working with Product, Studio Operations, Audio Engineering, and Game Production, you will define the audio systems that enable our players to enjoy a flawless, immersive experience.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Core Responsibilities:
Provide expert technical guidance on calibration, loudness consistency, and system design across studios and titles.
Influence AV and engineering teams through expertise, documentation, standards, and clear recommendations.
Own audio calibration principles across our game portfolio, ensuring consistent volume, clarity, and tonal balance.
Define and maintain technical audio standards across all environments.
Advise on configuration and optimisation of audio hardware, DAWs, microphones, acoustics, and monitoring setups.
Conduct technical audits of studios to ensure setups meet specification.
Partner with operations teams to establish monitoring systems, QA processes, and daily compliance checks.
Create guidelines for presenters and dealers on achieving consistent speaking levels.
Conduct technical user acceptance testing for new titles.
Benchmark system performance against industry leaders.
Ensure quality output across devices.
Analyse system performance and drive improvements.
Strategic Responsibilities:
Develop long-term technical audio standards.
Define KPIs for audio consistency, clarity, and reliability.
Recommend new technologies and engineering approaches.
Provide specialist input for new studios and product expansions.
Align with the Audio Experience Lead to ensure technical delivery supports creative vision.
Explore opportunities for signature audio marks.
