As a product analyst in surveillance team, the candidate will partner closely with the one of more lines of Surveillance and Market Intelligence (SMI) business and engineering groups to build market leading surveillance products. The Product Analyst will ensure that the scope and vision for new surveillance products and surveillance improvements are clear and measurable. The analyst will also ensure surveillance success measures are collected and communicated to surveillance leadership.



Responsibilities:


Lead end to end coordination and product delivery with various partner product teams.


Gain deep understanding of the business context and users’ needs, meanwhile act as a SME of the surveillance product suite.


Build strong partnership with the line of businesses, define product vision, outcomes, and success metrics.


Manage the product backlog while prioritizing work and making product-related decisions based on the needs and expectations of users and stakeholders.


Identify and manage work independently while working closely with both internal and external partners to ensure successful product launch and user adoption, with documentation and training materials for users in support of product launches.


Employ various database querying languages to perform data analysis across various data platforms to research and verify user needs, uncover additional user values, and determine new features



Job Skills:


Strategic thinking: be able to think strategically, set long-term goals, and create a product roadmap for achieving them.


Experience with Surveillance and Market Intelligence (SMI) products.


Communication skills: be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including executives, developers, designers, and users.


Technical knowledge: have a basic understanding of data visualization applications, query languages and programming languages.


Analytical skills: perform data analysis across various data platforms to research and verify user needs, uncover gaps and recommend ways for improvement.


User empathy: be able to understand and empathize with the needs of users. This requires conducting user research, gathering feedback, and using that feedback to inform product decisions.
