AI Automation & Systems Integration Specialist

About the RoleA growing e-commerce company is seeking a hands-on AI Automation & Systems Integration Specialist to connect its business software, improve reporting, and give leadership a clear view of sales performance. This person will build and maintain integrations across the company's systems, automate manual reporting work, and create dashboards and reports that show where sales are rising or falling. The role combines technical problem-solving, data analysis, and close collaboration with business teams.Key ResponsibilitiesSystems IntegrationConnect e-commerce, sales, operations, inventory, and other business systems through APIs, automation platforms, or custom integrationsMaintain reliable data flow between software tools and troubleshoot failed or inaccurate integrationsReview current systems and recommend practical ways to make them work togetherAI & AutomationIdentify repetitive reporting and operational tasks that can be automatedBuild AI-assisted workflows and internal tools that reduce manual work and improve accuracyMonitor, maintain, and improve automations after launchReporting & AnalyticsBuild dashboards and recurring reports that combine data from multiple systemsCreate reporting tools that help leadership see where sales are increasing or decreasingTrack trends, exceptions, and key business metrics, and present the information clearly so teams can act on itCheck data quality and reconcile discrepancies between systemsCollaboration & OwnershipWork with leadership and department teams to understand reporting needs and business processesTranslate business questions into practical systems, integrations, and reportsOwn projects from requirements through implementation, testing, documentation, and ongoing supportQualificationsExperience with APIs, systems integrations, workflow automation, or internal business toolsExperience building dashboards or reports using data from multiple sourcesFamiliarity with e-commerce platforms and sales dataWorking knowledge of AI and automation toolsStrong analytical and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and explain technical information clearly to nontechnical teamsPreferred ExperienceSQL, Python, JavaScript, or no-code/low-code automation platformsPower BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar reporting toolsMarketplace, ERP, CRM, inventory, order-management, or accounting system integrations
