Position Overview


The Senior Social Media Manager will spearhead AGS’s social media strategy, driving brand awareness and engagement within the iGaming, affiliate marketing, and operator communities. This role demands deep expertise in affiliate marketing, performance-based partnerships, CPA/RevShare models, and the iGaming ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a digitally-native storyteller with proven affiliate marketing experience who can position AGS as the leading authority in iGaming affiliate networking through compelling content, influencer partnerships, and data-driven campaigns.




Key Responsibilities


Social Media Strategy & iGaming Optimization



  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy tailored to iGaming affiliates, operators, payment providers, and industry stakeholders across all platforms (X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Telegram, Discord, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).

  • Continuously analyse and optimise campaigns to maximize reach within affiliate networks, operator communities, and performance marketing circles.

  • Stay ahead of iGaming trends, regulatory developments, new market launches, affiliate program innovations, and emerging marketing technologies.

  • Monitor affiliate forums, iGaming Twitter, operator communities, and industry channels to identify trending conversations and engagement opportunities.




Content Planning & Publication



  • Create and manage a content calendar focused on affiliate marketing trends, operator partnerships, payment solutions, compliance updates, market expansions, and iGaming innovations.

  • Plan, create, and curate high-quality content (infographics, explainer videos, industry insights, speaker highlights, event recaps, networking tips) that resonate with affiliates, operators, and industry professionals.

  • Oversee daily social media publications across all platforms, ensuring timely coverage of breaking iGaming news, regulatory changes, and industry developments.

  • Translate complex affiliate marketing concepts (attribution models, player lifetime value, commission structures, tracking technologies) into engaging, accessible content.




Stories & Community Engagement



  • Develop creative social media stories showcasing AGS events, affiliate success stories, operator partnerships, industry innovations, and community achievements.

  • Foster authentic engagement by responding to comments, questions about affiliate programs, and discussions on iGaming developments in a knowledgeable and timely manner.

  • Participate actively in affiliate and iGaming communities, building AGS's reputation as a valuable contributor to industry conversations.




Campaign Coordination & Affiliate Marketing



  • Plan and execute paid and organic social media campaigns targeting affiliates, operators, payment providers, software suppliers, and iGaming professionals.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (affiliate networks, operators, industry sponsors) to design campaigns that drive event registrations, community growth, and brand awareness.

  • Coordinate campaign launches around major industry events, market openings, regulatory announcements, and partnership reveals.

  • Track and report on campaign performance using iGaming-specific KPIs (event registrations, community engagement, Discord/Telegram growth, partnership inquiries).




Influencer & Industry Leader Partnerships



  • Identify and build relationships with top iGaming affiliates, affiliate managers, industry KOLs, content creators, and performance marketing experts.

  • Negotiate partnerships with influential voices in affiliate marketing, casino operations, sportsbook management, and payment processing.

  • Manage ambassador programs and influencer campaigns, ensuring alignment with AGS's mission and maximum ROI.

  • Monitor influencer performance and community sentiment to ensure authentic advocacy and meaningful engagement.




Community Management & Network Building



  • Build and nurture an engaged, global community of iGaming affiliates and operators across social platforms and industry-specific channels (Telegram, Discord, WhatsApp groups).

  • Moderate discussions on affiliate marketing topics, facilitate AMAs with industry leaders, and proactively engage with affiliates, operators, and innovators.

  • Monitor brand sentiment across iGaming forums, social platforms, and affiliate communities, addressing concerns and fostering positive dialogue.

  • Act as a bridge between AGS and the broader iGaming ecosystem, representing the brand authentically in affiliate and operator communities.




Analytics & Performance Reporting



  • Track, analyze, and report on social media metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth, sentiment analysis) with focus on iGaming-specific KPIs.

  • Use analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness, audience behavior, and community growth across platforms.

  • Provide actionable insights to leadership on trending topics in affiliate marketing and iGaming, optimization opportunities, and competitive positioning.




Collaboration & Industry Intelligence



  • Work closely with marketing, events, partnerships, and sales teams to align social media with AGS's strategic objectives and event calendar.

  • Monitor emerging affiliate marketing technologies, new operator platforms, payment innovations, and regulatory changes to keep content relevant and timely.

  • Identify opportunities to leverage new platforms, content formats, and engagement strategies to expand AGS's reach in the iGaming ecosystem.




Key Skills & Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (preferred)

  • 4+ years of experience in social media management within the iGaming, affiliate marketing, or performance marketing industry

  • Deep understanding of affiliate marketing models (CPA, RevShare, Hybrid), tracking technologies, and iGaming operations

  • Proven experience working with affiliate networks, operators, or as an affiliate marketer in the iGaming space

  • Proficiency in social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and AI-powered content tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Canva)

  • Strong content creation and editing skills with ability to explain affiliate marketing concepts and iGaming trends accessibly

  • Proven experience with influencer marketing and building partnerships within iGaming and affiliate communities

  • Excellent community management skills with experience moderating Telegram/Discord communities in iGaming

  • Ability to analyze social media performance and adapt strategies based on data and community feedback

  • Active participant in iGaming Twitter, affiliate marketing communities, and industry networking circles (portfolio of work required)

  • Proficiency in English (C1 or higher); additional languages are a strong plus

  • Bonus: Experience attending or working at iGaming conferences; knowledge of casino operations, sportsbook management, or payment processing; understanding of global iGaming regulations and compliance
