This is a summer internship, expected to run approximately May through August, offers an exceptional opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of marketing disciplines within the financial services industry. The intern will work closely with our Advisor Marketing team to support data integrity within Salesforce and AMP, assist with campaign and event coordination, customize marketing templates in Canva, and contribute to marketing automation and content workflows. Key takeaways from this role include exposure to marketing operations, data segmentation, event support, AI-driven tools, and multi-channel advisor marketing strategies. This position is ideal for students looking to develop a strong foundation in marketing within the financial services industry. This is a fully remote internship opportunity.In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the hourly rate for this position is $21 per hour.Job Functions Advisor Marketing Platform (AMP) SupportWork with Regional Marketing Specialists (RMS) to ensure that lists in Salesforce are updated in AMP on a regular basisEnsure data integrity and be proactive in ensuring data is up to dateHelp with email and event creation in AMPCoordinate and support requests from Advisors through the Content and Creative teamsBecome a subject matter expert in AMP with a deep knowledge of advisor contentCustomize Advisor Templates in CanvaUse Canva to create and customize unique advisor templates based on team requestsLoad content and craft templates in AMPEnsure that content is supplied to advisors in a timely and detail-oriented mannerMaintain content categories to ensure ease of use for advisorsSalesforce Platform SupportProvide ad hoc support for team data and segmentation needsHelp provide valuable analysis to RMS and advisory teamsLearn to perform data segmentation and analysis to drive growthCreate Salesforce campaigns aligned to events for tracking of ROIServe as a critical part of the team for event planning and campaign creationReport back on event metrics and successLearn to be data-driven when planning events and how to report on metrics of successCreation of Toolkits & 1 PagersAssist the Advisor Marketing team with creation of 1 pager checklists on topical issues relevant to advisors and the use of our marketing productsAssist the Advisor Marketing team with creation of toolkits – packages of materials for hosting events that include all of the marketing collateral needed (social posts, imagery, invitations, email copy & layout, checklists and process documentation)Education/Skill Qualifications:  Preferably Pursuing bachelor’s degree in marketing, mass communications, or related fieldPreferably students between their junior and senior yearsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareWell-developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to successfully interact with people at all levels of the organizationDetail oriented, highly organized and adaptableWEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as: the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. To comply with state pay transparency laws, we must disclose the entire salary grade. The entire salary grade for those who are classified as the Intern level is $38,700.00 to$ 54,200.00.
