Job Posting Summary


The Modern Foreign Languages Program at Mercy University seeks part time, adjunct instructors to teach Spanish to undergraduate students.
 
Successful candidates may be offered the opportunity to teach up to 3 section(s) per semester.
 
Commitment to teaching with inclusive excellence is required.
 
Candidates may also be asked to provide assistance with program assessment and development and to attend select programmatic or professional development meetings.

Location:   Courses may be offered at the Dobbs Ferry, Manhattan, or Bronx campuses, or online. Adjunct faculty are not eligible for relocation assistance.

Qualifications


Minimum qualifications include:

  • Masters or Doctorate from accredited institution in an appropriate academic discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully teaching Spanish on the college-level. 
Compensation is based on a semester and calculated on a semi-monthly pay cycle.

Mercy University promotes a community campus environment. As a result, employment is limited to the following states:  New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. Applicants outside of those states or the USA will be required to relocate. Relocation assistance may be provided for eligible moves.
